In Kyushu, Chugoku, and some parts of Kansai,
The custom of visiting three shrines in the new year, known as "sansha mairi," is deeply rooted in the area.
People from other regions are sometimes surprised and ask, "You're going to visit three places?"

The standard ones in Fukuoka are "Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine", "Hakozaki Shrine" and "Miyajidake Shrine",
Since there is no clear definition,
It's also a local thing to visit three shrines in the neighborhood.

This year, we will be visiting three shrines, a Fukuoka custom.
