February 18th is "Dialect Day"✨
It was established with the aim of preserving and passing on the Amami dialect, a dialect of Kagoshima Prefecture.
The dialect of Fukuoka Prefecture, the birthplace of "Ganso Hakata Mentaiju," is Hakata-ben!
Today, we will introduce you to some places where you can learn Hakata dialect while shopping.

🛍Kawabata Shopping Street🛍
Located close to our shop is Kawabata-dori Shopping Street, a long-established shopping street that represents Hakata.
There is a banner hanging with the dialect title "Hakata Dialect Ranking."
We introduce the traditional Hakata dialect with illustrations by Fukuoka-born manga artist "Hasegawa Hosei".
