At Fukuhaku Deai Bridge, which connects Fukuoka and Hakata and is close to Ganso Hakata Mentaiju, a large Christmas tree and illuminations were lit up again this year for the "Nakas Hikarino Advent" event.

The illumination event began at Hakata Station in 2013 and is celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, having now become a major event covering the entire city of Fukuoka.
In Fukuoka, there are many festivals and events held in the summer, but there were no events held in the winter, so the idea behind holding this event came from the desire to "create a representative winter event."

Within the venue in the Hakata and Tenjin districts, many hut-like markets called "Hütte" are lined up, creating an exciting Christmas atmosphere.
