In the Nakasu area Ganso Hakata Mentaiju is located,
Nakasu Jazz 2023 will be held over two days, September 16th and 17th.

The goal of this "Nakasu Jazz" is to "make Nakasu a more lively town through jazz."
The event has been held since 2009 and marks its 15th anniversary this year, including online events.
The first event had three stages set up on Nakasu Boulevard and was attended by a crowd of 25,000.
The following year, a special stage was set up in the park right next to our store, and it is said that it attracted a crowd of 50,000 people.

Since then, it has continued to grow in scale, and is now one of the leading jazz events in western Japan.
This year, eight stages will be set up, and a total of 57 amazing artists are currently scheduled to perform over the two days.
All stages can be viewed free of charge.
In addition to the live performances, you can also enjoy original goods and meals while listening to jazz.

In recent years, due to infectious diseases and typhoons, it has been difficult to hold the event as usual.
Even in these circumstances, we are continuing to make creative efforts to hold events, such as online events and live performances with limited audience numbers.
This year too, Nakasu will be a huge venue for live jazz performances throughout the city.
