The recommended topping, "Tataki Tororo," is made by pounding yam to perfection, giving it a nice thickness while still retaining a nice crunch.

Yamaimo is said to be the perfect vegetable to survive the hot summer☀️It is especially effective when eaten raw💪🏻💪🏻! Please enjoy the unique texture of the sticky yamaimo and the grainy mentaiko🤗

Mentai-ju is delicious enough to eat as is.
After eating about a third of it, add the pounded grated yam to the layer!
Enjoy the change in flavor as you add the special sauce little by little.
