The Setsubun festival to ward off evil spirits is being held again this year at Kushida Shrine, the guardian shrine of Hakata and located near our store.
Speaking of Setsubun at Okushida Shrine, there's the Otafuku mask, which is said to be the largest in Japan ✨ It's about 5 meters tall! It's said that if you pass through this big mouth, you will be blessed with "prosperity in business" and "safety in the home" ♪

Another fun part of the Setsubun event is eating Ehomaki.
